How green are you?

Nowadays because of the current situation about climatic change it is necessary to start thinking about how to help the environment, I think we all should start thinking green. Even I’m not part of eco- organizations (because I don’t have enough time), I always try to make little things everyday to reduce my carbon footprint, such as using compact fluorescent light bulbs at home, turning the faucet off when brushing or shaving, or walking instead of going by car, for example I go everyday to university by coach and subway because it is far from my house, I don’t use my own car that’s good, but it could be much better if I could go by bike or legs to university. I think it is important to awareness people about this topic, I guess  people usually know about this topic by the news or the mass media, but in my opinion in school this  should be a central topic of study, because the kids are going to be the responsible of our planet in a few years. It is important to recycle, we all know that, and that’s why in my house we try to never use plastic bags and if we have one we reuse it.  I think society, specifically Santiago from the government to every single person should start being eco-friendly, politicians should think about how their decisions impact the environment to make Santiago a better place to live. If I had the opportunity I’d do a recycle centre in my neighborhood. 

MY WORST NIGHTMARE

Hello everyone, today I’m going to talk about my worst nightmare. I know this topic is extensive, and it can has different interpretations but I chose to talk about my worst nightmare making reference to dreams at night. When I usually have a nightmare it is related with dead, I think this is one of my biggest fears and that’s why I associate it with bad things.

Ok, this is how my nightmare was…

One day like any other, I was in my bedroom and my mom called me and told me if I’d like to go to the mall to buy some staff and clothes, of course I accepted the invitation. My mom, my sister my dad and I, got into the car and my dad drove to the centre of Melipilla but when we were in the corner of the central square something extremely rare happened; a strong man right in front of our car was fighting with a guy of my school, who had a black eye because of a punch, we treated to run away of that situation and my dad drove around the square. For some unknown reason to me, my dad came back to the same corner and the strong man in that moment was punching  the guy in the face leaving him knock out. After this, everything happened so fast to me, that I can only remember a sequence of facts: the man suddenly ran to our car with a bat of iron in his hands, he opened up the door of the driver, he took my dad by the neck and then I saw the bat going at top speed against my dad’s head… In that moment I woke up thinking my dad was dead, IT WAS TERRIBLE!  I was extremely anxious and sad, Fortunately it was just a rare and bad dream. My Future Job

Hello everyone, today I’m going to write about my future job. I chose to study dentistry because in my future job as a dentist I will have the opportunity to choose my working day and I can work regardless of any hospital or any health organization, I can be my own boss.

 In the future I want to work half of my day as a dentist and the other half of my day I want to continue studying a specialization which is Legal and Forensic Dentistry, it is a very singular specialty in odontology and there’ re not many people in this area. So I would like to study this specialty and after that start working at PDI the other half of my day, I think this work would be very interesting and exciting, but difficult at the same time, because I would have to recognize dead people.

Besides all those academic things, I will still being a woman, and in a future I want to be a mom, so I would like to work part-time to have time to spend with my children. I don’t care if I travel or not with my work, I would prefer to travel with my family instead. I think the most important for me is working to live and not living to work.
